Dean & Todd, and other stuff

Some weeks back, I put out a notice here and on the Magic BBs, that
escape artist Dean Gunnarson and his assistant/brother Todd had been
through a traumatic accident. I suggested that cards and calls would
be welcome. The reaction was tremendous. Over two hundred cards,
letters and gifts arrived, some from the top names in the business and
all from caring folks. That was very good of you guys, and I want to
sincerely thank you all.

Yes, I said I was finished with Dumbo-drinking-milk, but just two
comments.... It seems I offended some Hindu folks, but silly stuff is
silly stuff. And, it's "Milk! It does a body good!" and not "the
body." My informant advised me badly; I thought it was "a body," but
he argued against it. I'll never trust him again.

Dean & Todd are doing well, and back at work. Remarkable chaps, both.

J.R.
